New technologies are transforming a 19th-century watchmaking town in Switzerland. Josephine, a young factory worker, produces the unrest wheel, swinging in the heart of the mechanical watch. Exposed to new ways of organizing money, time and labour, she gets involved with the local movement of the anarchist watchmakers, where she meets Russian traveller Pyotr Kropotkin.

Cyril Schäublin (1984, Zürich, Switzerland), grew up in Switerzland within a watchmaker family. Between 2004 and 2006, he lived in China where he studied Mandarin and Cinema at Zhongxi Academy in Beijing. He went on to study Film Directing at DFFB, Berlin, where he graduated in 2012. He directs his first shorts: Lenny (2009), Portrait (2011) and Modern Times (2013), and upon returning to Switzerland, he produces his debut feature, Those Who Are Fine (2017), premiered at Locarno and screened at festivals such as Rotterdam or New Directors / New Films, awarded Best Film Award at FIC Edinburgh 2018 and an EFA 2018 (European Discovery) nomination.
