The Official Selection this year is probably our most ambitious so far: nine films (all first or second works by the selected authors) that are, for the most part, premiered in Galicia for the first time, with three of them being a first release in Spain. Together, these nine films compose a rich panorama that takes us on an exquisite trip through the formal devices of contemporary cinema.

From the Amazonian forest to the Chinese megalopolises, all throughout the old new Europe and the Galician mountains, the selected films act as open questions to the past and future of stories, of History and histories, and invite us to see the planet with the eyes of the most promising filmmakers.
