WORKSHOP WITH ELOY DOMÍNGUEZ SERÉN
15 December | 16.30h. | Teatro | Free Entry
First-person cinema is an intimate and introspective, complex, heterogeneous and remarkably fruitful format, which in recent years has become an extraordinarily fertile ground for experimentation and film innovation. This type of cinema gravitates around the exploration of the “self” in its broadest sense and delves into stimulating processes of personal inquiry and audiovisual creation, both in terms of film production and language, fostering aesthetic, discursive and political contributions.
Our workshop proposed a comprehensive approach to this way of making cinema, with the hope of encouraging our students to find their authorial voice and to express it through their own work. The main objective was to deepen a type of cinema that, despite enjoying growing prestige and getting an excellent reception at specialized festivals, is still relatively unknown among the general public.
