Novos Cinemas, Pontevedra International Film Festival, is aimed to the detection, promotion of emerging talent. The festival’s editorial line is devoted to the new filmmakers, incorporating two competitive sections (Official Section and Heartbeats/Latexos) for first and second feature films and  paying special attention to international avant-garde films.

However, the festival itself is just the highlight of a specific year-long programme; since the project sets out to encompass the entire spectrum: exhibition, distribution, formation and divulgation, as well as social interaction and cultural and socio-economic promotion of Pontevedra.

Edition 07 of Novos Cinemas will take place from December 13 to 18, 20220.
