Every night, a girl, a boy and an old man meet in a small derelict movie theatre brimful of wonders. The three friends invent stories, get information, make drawings, dress up and become the heroes of new adventures on magical nights where everything is posible.

Michel Ocelot (1943, Villefranche-sur-Mer, France) is one of nowadays’ main figures of contemporary animation. He studied Decorative Arts in Rouen, Paris, and the CalArts (California). Self-taught in animation, he has pursued several film and television projects since the 70s. His big audience recognition came with Kirikou and the Sorceress (1998). Since then, he directed several films, including two Kirikou spin-offs, Azur & Asmar: The Princess’ Quest (2016), and Dilili in Paris (2018), and also some TV series such as Dragons and Princesses (2010), features for which he has been awarded multiple times.
