Nomotopowell is a mythical travelogue exploring the terrain of a little-known village in the Florida state, where the ghosts of two pivotal figures in American history cross paths.

Brent Chesanek (1980, Colorado Springs, USA) currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Central Florida where he studied Journalism-Telecom and Film Theory at the University of Florida. Their films operate somewhere in between narrative, documentary, and experimental film practice, and his works Brethren Arise (2009, Short) and City World (2012), have been screened at CPH:DOX Copenhagen, FIDMarseille, Seattle IFF, Rencontres Internationales du Documentaire de Montréal, Singapore IFF, Visions.MTL, among others. Nomotopowell (2022) is his second feature film.
