Rio de Janeiro. Rómulo’s quiet routine changes overnight when an accident starts a wave of absurd events. Far from there, Orlando, his twin brother and rare works dealer tries to buy the book of a Brazilian student with financial problems. The twins’ lives will be on a collision course with the arrival of a mysterious manuscript.

Leonardo Mouramateus (1991, Fortaleza, Brasil). Master in Multimedia Art by the University of Lisbon, he graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual at the Federal University of Ceará, maintaining permanent contact with the performing arts and dance dramaturgy. He wrote and directed films shown at several festivals such as Locarno, Viennale, IDFA, Cinéma du Réel and Bafici. Retrospectives of his filmography were presented in Portugal, France, Colombia, and more recently at the IFFRotterdam. Life Lasts Two Days is his second feature film.
